A responsible energy company, embarked on a transformative journey to redefine its visual identity.

Rooted in its core values of sustainability and innovation, this endeavour aimed not only to reflect Newspark's ethos but also to create a unified visual language that resonates with its employees and customers alike.

This partnership resulted in a dynamic visual system that not only embodies Newspark's commitment to innovation and a sustainable future but also celebrates the cohesion and belonging within the company. As part of this initiative, Newspark placed a strong emphasis on fostering a familial atmosphere among its employees, making them an integral part of the brand's evolution.

At the core of Newspark's visual identity is its logo, featuring bespoke custom lettering with a forward-leaning design which serves as a symbolic nod to the company’s forward-thinking approach and continuous progression towards a sustainable future. Nestled at the heart is the striking lightning bolt, showing the energy and innovation that drive Newspark's mission.

To reinforce this sense of cohesion, we introduced branded packaging and merchandise such as mugs, tote bags, and tablet cases, offering employees and customers alike; a tangible connection to the company's mission. These items not only serve as practical tools but also contribute to a cohesive and consistent brand experience, fostering a sense of pride and belonging.

Central to the new visual identity is the lightning bolt featured in the wordmark, which serves as a unifying element across all touchpoints. Acting as a "main character", it encapsulates Newspark's energy and dynamism, while also serving as a versatile container at a large scale for colour and imagery, adding depth and personality to the brand's communication.

Furthermore, Newspark's commitment to transparency extends beyond its visual identity to its customer-facing platforms. Through its innovative app, customers can closely monitor their energy use and receive individual advice, based on individual, real time data, with regards to lowering consumption, empowering them to make informed choices and contribute to a greener world.

The chosen typefaces were meticulously selected for their character, evoking a feeling of human touch and resonating with Newspark's values of authenticity, connection and boldness.

Additionally, the colours were considered for a few reasons. To represent earthly elements – further reinforcing their commitment to sustainability and harmony with nature; a day and night cycle – enforcing the company’s trustworthy supply and 24/7 customer support policy; and to be bold, always challenging the norm.

In essence, this partnership not only revitalised Newspark's brand identity but also strengthened its internal culture, bringing a sense of cohesion and purpose among employees. By embracing innovation, sustainability, and transparency, Newspark continues to lead the charge towards a brighter, greener future for all.
