Döppler: Any Blue

The idea? To experience the lyrics as the music is playing, with little consideration to the legibility of the lyrics or the pacing of the reader, as to pair with the song’s attitude and changes in tempo, the pages experimented instead with image manipulation and texture, often using photographs and textures from rehearsals and live shows but destroyed digitally to a point where they could no longer be made out.

There was a 50/50 split between manipulation on a computer and on a phone before type was overlayed and the book printed and bound for users to experience physically and with headphones.
